CEO Statement

"Cooling cell pads were first designed in Sweden in late 1970 to cool green houses in South Europe.

In 1980, I saw the cooling pads being used in greenhouses in Saudi Arabia. Compared to the mediocre cooling systems such as spinning disks and foggers, I saw these cooling pads as saviors in cooling poultry houses in the Middle East and that was the first introduction, which proved successful. Today cell pads are the only devises used in cooling poultry houses in the Middle East.

The Arab countries are amongst the greatest users of cooling pads in the world. Yet, production of such pads has been restricted to Europe until recently when USA, China, and Thailand started their production. Transport of such pads represents 20-30% of their CIF value to Middle Eastern countries.

The Wadi Group is renowned for its innovative projects that serve the poultry industry in the Arab World since 1975. Wadi was the first company in the Arab World to establish a cooling pad manufacturing facility in Egypt, under the trade name of Tabreed.

Tabreed is now supplying first quality evaporative cooling pads to Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria Lebanon Tunisia and other Gulf countries at competitive prices."
